So before I had a real grasp on my plot (I have my idea pretty solidly now), I had gone through on shuffle my Vocaloid songs and the Megurine Luka song, You and Beautiful World totally ’spoke’ to me and thus I used it for inspiration. Now with my plot pretty clear in mind, I went back and listened to it again. I wanted to show it to a friend and found a subtitled version of the song. Let me tell you, all I could say for a little while was “oh. my god.”
While not exact, it’s pretty much spot on. Apparently I subconsciously understand Japanese!

Well, 2009’s NaNoWriMo that is! Now at college, I’m going to be sticking to the usual 50,000 words so that I don’t screw up my school work. I’m still trying to kick my inspiration into gear while getting to class on time (and not getting lost), and so far I think it might be working. One thing I hope for: my shift key to come in before November, cause typing sans left shit key isn’t gonna be fun for 50k words. xD
I don’t have much to say really, got a new banner up for now, artwork by Nardack at Pixiv (link in the about section, note: pixiv required registration to look at artwork). That’s about it for now. Updates on that pesky plot bunny will come soon… I hope…
*shrugs* Been drawing some unrelated stuff, made some Sims, playing PangYa, stuck on ToA… yeah. Still watching Anime and whatever. Iunno, NaNo’s slipped from my mind for a while. And I haven’t worked on Computer City: Only You, but I really don’t care, Naomi and Eizan are leaving me alone, so I’m fine with it being a one-shot for now. It kinda seems cooler if I leave it open-ended.
Made a new character, her name is Nine. Yes, like the number. She’s kinda my muse right now, and hopefully she won’t end up in my NaNo. Last one who did (Shizuzu) ended up running off at the end of NaNo06 and never came back. .___.;
I guess I’ll work on the Plot Bunnies Page.
A bit earlier then usual, for their 10th Anniversary, NaNoWriMo’s site is already back up! Or, well, it’s been back up for a while, I just didn’t find the need to talk about it. :P This year marks NaNoWriMo’s 10th anniversary, Congrats NaNo~! The site doesn’t look too much different, but there’s some cool new features in the new NaNoSite. Like, Cover Art and a Synopsis section for your NaNo Novel~! And that Procrastication Station section on the Main Page ( I guess no more daily comics? D: )
Just to share, since I did fill out my Synopsis, here’s what I’ve got on my NaNo I’m sharing…
Synopsis: A Song for You
Arika Emmott, who lost her parents at the age of 3, grows up in the city of Applecaster. Because of the accident that cost her parents their lives, she is now a mute. However, something in her willed for her voice to come out, though now it comes out through telepathy, which leads to scientists beginning to study her. However, all she wants is to have her songs voiced by someone, anyone.
Bridget Ainell lost her parents as well. She’s kept locked away in her house cared for by her maids and butlers. She longs to leave this place and let her beautiful singing voice out.
What happens when these two girls meet?
As a note, “A Song for You” is the Tentative title, and I’m not really sure if I’m keeping it. Any suggestions are welcome.

God damnit. Thank you Miss “Hanayuki” and your whatever-the-hell-that-thing-is. Thank you for abandoning me. For something as minor as music. Thank you ever so much. I mean that sarcastically, and truthfully. I actually like Arika’s story much more then “Hanayuki”’s. x/
As far as I know now, this novel will have magic in it. I’m working out how it works while I wait for my Main Character to start talking. From various ideas like having characters be given a name (when born) and having a true name that lies within their heart, and items for magicians, it’s all kinda running around. I’m not sure how much I’m actually going to use, but it’ll be interesting. Hopefully by October I’ll have the basic idea written down, and be able to get something ready for November more-so related to my novel for my banner. :P I like the Tsubasa art, but it’s not MY novel.
Nothing much is really going down now, I’m back in school and blahdi blahdi blah. Hopefully I’ll get my writing juices flowing before it becomes too late!
*shrugs* Got nothing super cool for a title.
So, since it’s the last day of August, I felt like I should kick this Blog into motion. With two monthes left until NaNoWriMo, I’ll be blogging about the planning process that I’m trying to go through and stuff. Oh and talking about NaNo. Can’t wait to see those new shirts! Totally getting one for this year as well. =D
Anyways, so I have a basic idea. I don’t wanna talk about it too much, but I’ll share this one line that came to me…
“And that’s how I learned to fly.”
