“What I’m trying to get at, Neria, is that you’re finding ways to make it your fault. You’re making up reasons and excuses so that you can blame yourself for it all even though you only made one decision in the whole scenario. You did not come back with me. The drunk driver made quiet a few more than you, the choice to drink, the choice to get in a car, and the choice to run that red light. You made one choice Neria, and there were a lot more involved in the event. You need to see that Neria.”
“Well I can’t, why don’t you get it? I can’t see it that way. If I had gone, I could have solved the whole problem. We wouldn’t be sitting here, had I just gone. You know it just as well as I do Kimily.”
Kimily sighed. “If you’re not going to open up your mind just a little to other views, you’re not going to get over this.”
“Who said I ever wanted to.”
No, I’m not talking about my NaNo. ;D Just a quote from my character.
Been pulling a lot of last-minute word count goal hits (like <10 minutes to midnight), and haven’t had the time to post something. ^^;;;> But hey, at least I’m on target! =D

Yes, I pulled the dream scene trick. ;D Short dream though. Kinda relates to my banner image. :3
Excerpt:
‘I remember waking up at the crack of dawn from a nightmare. It was such a simple dream. I was standing in a black void, with only Kimily near my side. Stars began to fill the sky around us, but the more stars that appeared, the further Kimily became. I started off chasing after her, though with each step it felt as if she became even further from me. I stopped running after a while and began to shout at the stars, telling them to go away and let Kimily return. It makes sense when I think about it, but what an odd interpretation of the whole situation…’
That’s it. :P

So I lost my 2-day cushion… OTL
Excerpt:
Neria walked over as she took off her jacket. She hung it over the back of a chair and took a seat. June had already struck up a debate between everyone, even the usual card players had put their game on pause to take part.
“No way, Charizard is pretty much the best of them all, we all know it.”
“No he’s not! Blastoise beats him hands down!”
“I beg to differ, Piplup is even better than any of the other water starters!”
“Oh you just think that because it’s cute.”
“Yeah, so? Cuteness is important too, plus it’s always cooler to kick someone’s butt with something like a Skitty or Shinx. Un-evolved Pokémon for the win!”
“And that makes it strong how?”
“Well what fun is it if you have a strong Pokémon but hate it to death?”
“Oh you’re just trying to defend your pathetic teams.”
“Hey, hey, she did beat your team five times.”
“Just because she poisoned half my team does not mean her team was any good, she just got lucky!”
“Yeah, lucky my ass, she used poison spore. Just admit it…”
‘I really had missed times like this. We would go on long discussions about something meaningless and yet amazingly amusing. Times like these always raised my mood, making me feel so much better. These meetings really did do something good besides bringing us together. While I didn’t add much to the conversations, it still was great to just be with others if only for a short time.’
“You know what really is the best though?”
“What could possibly beat anything we already mentioned?”
“Magikarp, of course!”
Everyone laughed.
“Have to hand it to you, Magikarp is awesome.”
“Well of course! When Magikarp evolve, we’re all fucked no matter how bad we think they are!”
“Well I think that just killed that debate…”
Everyone laughed again.
YES THAT’S WHAT YOU THINK IT IS. POKéMANS TALK. xD
Also added, like, 6 characters, but I’m getting lazy with updating the plot bunny page.

Excerpt:
‘We used to sit around a table like this in some random coffee shop, which changed from week to week it seemed, since Kimily never liked being consistent or would be looking to try something new. I remember the times where Peter would start up some card game of some sort with some of the other people around the table, trading or actually playing; it changed depending on their mood. Usually I would sit next to Kimily, with our hands in each others beneath the table, and most of what I can remember is looking at her. Everything about her drew me in. I loved her with all of myself… Mimi and some of the other girls would sometimes take part in whatever game Peter started up, and from time to time I think I played as well. Other times we would just start to have some intellectual, or not, conversation. Some days we would study as a group, trying to pass our classes, other times we would just goof off to relieve stress. It was such a brilliant and simple idea, it’s hard to believe it all fell apart after Kimily was gone… Sometimes I wonder if we should try to get everyone together again and do something like that again, but then I realize we all know it wouldn’t be the same. Something, or rather some one, would be missing, that connection between all of us. It’s amazing what one girl had accomplished…’
I really am liking this addition to the story. :3 Gained a new character, she’s nameless at the moment though. xD

The two walked to class in silence, pretending the other didn’t exist. ‘I can’t believe what she said, it just wasn’t right. I know it’s not the best choice to dwell in the past, but it’s the choice I made and I’m sticking to it, no matter what anyone says. Plus it doesn’t matter anymore anyways, since I can just see Kimily whenever I want now, no matter if it’s in my head or through the other means. I didn’t like fighting with my friends, but I really wish Mimi would stop trying to tell me what I was doing was wrong, like it wasn’t a valid way to live or something. I never said it was the best choice, but it’s my choice. I felt bad about fighting with Mimi, and I almost wanted ton skip class again, but I knew I shouldn’t and just tried to ignore her all of the class. Thankfully it was a lecture hall sort of class, so I could easily ignore her by sitting somewhere far away from wherever she chose to sit. I felt kind of bad though, ignoring her like that. She’s a great friend… She used to be really shy before, but she’s become very open, well at least to me anyways. She seems vocal these days, but she wasn’t always that way… It’s almost hard to imagine her any other way now; with the way she lets her personality shine through the shell she once had around herself. She lived like I do, hidden in the shell crafted of thoughts to keep ourselves from being hurt. Mimi tells me it’s the wrong way to live, and yet she used to be like that all the time. At least I have a reason to be this way…’
I really like quoting my MC’s monologues. xDDD

‘It felt like one big mish mosh of everything that had happened. I don’t even know how to explain it… It was just confusing. I tried to piece things together, to try and make sense of even just a part of it, but it was all just mixed together, I couldn’t even remember it all properly. Of course, what more should I expect from a dream? But at the same time, I wondered if it meant something, considering the situation that was now happening. Maybe my dreams meant something, maybe they would try to tell me things now… But maybe I was just hoping for super powers on top of being an angel. I mean, hey, if I can be an angel, can’t I have super powers too? Anything seemed possible at the time; though I guess there was a legitimate reason for me to think so. Everything was just turning into something more. First the fact I got to heaven turned into the fact I’m an angel, and then being there seems to be me tying off loose ends before I become a fully fledged angel or something. I wanted it all to make sense, and for that sense to be simple. But no matter how I tried to put things together, none of it made sense, let alone make sense in a way that was simple. If only life was that easy, right?’
I like having my excerpts being my MC’s monologues. I think I have the most fun writing those. :P

SSDJAKSDHASKJLGK. Some moron decided to play with the fire extinguisher in my building while I was in the midst of a writing roll. :|
Nanoisms for today, yet another 2 HIT COMBO!
“Clam down; calm down, geez you don’t need to shout,” Ruisha sighed. “So you say know, things can change quickly so long as you’re learning.
xD Yeah go me, making so many nanoisms!
Excerpt of the day:
‘I began to wonder what I was really doing here. Now I knew how I got here, but why had I come here. Was it just as Ruisha had said, to tie off loose ends before I became a true angel? I didn’t want to forget everything in my life, but I guess it was just in my blood or something, maybe I was supposed to follow this path, maybe I was supposed to become an angel. At least she had said it wasn’t supposed to happen right now, but that I had to finish off all the loose ends in my life, and this was a big one. I still didn’t believe her that it wasn’t my fault at all that Kimily had died, I mean there are so many factors, one of them could be my choice to stay that night rather than head back with her. But… at least I can stay here, right?’

Going home for the weekend gets me writing right before the day becomes the next. >_< Stupid me… Got yet another character, who is nameless right now. xD Buuut, here’s an excerpt.
‘It felt like someone else was controlling my memories, like someone was looking through a tape to find the show they had recorded. Then it would feel like they wanted to keep re watching the same scene over and over, I didn’t understand at all while it was happening, but that really was what was going on. They seemed to be able to look through my memories at will, but only when I was asleep. The memories flashed in front of my eyes, as they dug through everything they could, trying to find a clue. Until I, thankfully, woke up. Still sitting in that cold chair.’
Other than that, today was kinda crazy outside of writing. Glad I got to 15K today. :3

Ehehe, I haven’t been updating every day… ^^;;>
“That’s… That’s not how you’re supposed to enter…” Riel said quietly.
“Huh? Well, you didn’t explain anything to me about how to return, so I just found that alley again…” Neria replied, shrugging and walking in the direction of Kimily’s house.
Riel walked in front of Neria in an attempt to stop her. “No, something’s wrong here… you… this… this just isn’t right! This isn’t how it’s supposed to work! How are you able to come back and forth as you please? And through some weird arch in a brick wall of all possible ways!” Riel shouted, putting his arm in from of Neria’s chest.
“Like I told you, I have no idea, but I’m back here. Now can you let me through?” Neria replied, weaving to her right.
“No! No I can’t! This isn’t how it works, you don’t belong here!”
“But you gave me this damn note! I can be here!” Neria shouted back, pulling the envelope up and pointing to it.
“That only works if you come in the proper way! Not by some weird back door!” Riel moved to prevent Neria from passing again.
“Who the hell cares?! I’m here now just let me through!” Neria shouted back, weaved and pushed Riel’s arm out of the way.
Nothing much. :P Haven’t written much since I’ve been busy today.

HORRAY! I hit the 10K mark! O: I had some Nanoisms, but I don’t feel like digging them up. Not much happened today, I went to Japanese class, came back, and wrote. :P And, as per usual, here’s an excerpt.
“I really am concerned how a girl like yourself ended up here, and records show you shouldn’t be here for any reason. Now could you care to explain yourself?”
“Would if I could, but I have no idea. Might be nice if you could explain it to me, since I have no clue what so ever,” Neria replied, with the sting of annoyance hanging in her voice.
“Why don’t you just say it already then we can figure out how to deal with it?” Riel begged, seeming to believe Neria actually knew.
“I’m not lying. I really don’t have a clue. If I did, I’d tell you, but I don’t, okay? What part of that don’t you get?”
“You have to know though! People don’t just waltz on in here without needing to be! Things just don’t work that way!”
“No matter how many times you tell me stuff like that, it won’t change the fact that I have. No. Idea. Continually asking me is not going to make me suddenly know how I got here. All I know is I was walking down some brick alley way and suddenly I was here.”
“You think that’s really a believable story? Like I said, this is heaven; we have to be extraordinarily organized! There wouldn’t be an entrance to here in some alley way hidden in wherever it is that you live! Why don’t you just—”
“Stop it!” Kimily shouted, pushing herself between the two to separate them. “Riel, clearly Neria doesn’t know. The fact is you have to figure it out now. I know Neria, she wouldn’t lie about something like this, there’s just no point. Please don’t do anything to her either, okay? I want her here. It doesn’t matter to me how she got here, and if anything, I’ll take all the blame if that’ll make you feel better, just don’t get into an argument over the fact you think she’s hiding something. That’s just plain ridiculous!” She turned around to face Neria and said, “And Neria? I’m glad to see you again, but we do need to figure out how you got here, so at least… at least cooperate with them, okay?”
The tension that had begun to fill the air immediately escaped out the windows, though all it left was a big mass of silence.
“Well now, that was super effective.”
The pokemon reference was totally on purpose. xD
